Good news: Nursing Discipline of Fudan Universityis once again ranked in the QS Top 100 Global Nursing Disciplines in 2023


Quacquarelli Symonds, an international higher education consultancy, released its 2023 World University Rankings by Subject on March 22, The Nursing discipline of Fudan University was ranked 51-100 in the global Nursing discipline for the fifth time.

In this year's subject ranking, there are 12 universities in Asia ranked in the top 100 of nursing subjects, among which 8 are from China (2 from the Chinese mainland, 3 from Hong Kong, and 3 from Taiwan). Peking University and Fudan University remain the top 100 of nursing subjects in the Chinese mainland.

The QS World University Rankings is one of the rankings with the largest number of participating institutions and the widest global reach. The QS World University Rankings by Subject is compiled annually across 54 disciplines across five academic fields, each of which is based on four indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per article, and the H-index. The first two are QS global surveys of professional academics and employers used to assess an institution's international reputation in various fields, while the latter two assess the institution's academic impact based on research citations for each paper and an H-index in the relevant discipline. These data come from Scopus of Elsevier, the world's most comprehensive research citation database.
