On 11-22 November 2024, 18 students from Nethersole School of Nursing at CUHK came to the school for exchange. During the activity, CUHK students visited medical service institutions and teaching practice bases such as Children's Hospital, Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital, Eye & ENT Hospital, Third Social Welfare Center and Shanghai Qixiang Children's Development Center, participated in the simulation exercise of Emergency nursing High School, internal medicine nursing, pottery art, tea art and other courses, and had a preliminary understanding of Shanghai medical system and Fudan nursing education. They also had a personal experience of Shanghai's cultural heritage and atmosphere.

On November 22, the two-week activity came to a successful end. At the closing ceremony, Dean Hu Yan asked the students about their feelings and presented them with certificates of honor.

"Time is fleeting, we have not got to know each other well already have to say goodbye to everyone. But I believe that sometimes the encounter is not about the length, but the temperature. In just two short weeks, each of us has deeply felt the warmth of your presence. A cup of coffee on a winter morning, an apple that came a thousand miles away, a heart-felt sharing, and many, many more, we will never forget."

Two weeks is a short time, but the students built a deep friendship. There are always goodbyes, but this experience will become a valuable treasure in the memories of the students. We look forward to more exchange opportunities in the future, so that the seeds of friendship and knowledge can take root and grow between the two places.
