BIOGRAPHY

Yanhong Gu is Director of Nursing Department in Shanghai Fifth People’s Hospital, Fudan University, core researcher of Collaborating Center of Joanna Briggs Institute. She is also a acknowledged specialist of the Rehabilitation Nursing Commission in Chinese Nursing Association, executive director and deputy director of the Rehabilitation Nursing Commission in Shanghai Nursing Association, vice director of the Nursing Committee in Shanghai Association of Chinese Integrative Medicine, member of the Nursing Management Committee in Shanghai Hospital Association, member of standing committee of Nursing Care Branch in China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, director of Nursing Committee and deputy director of Anesthesia Committee in Shanghai Minhang District Medical Association, and acknowledged specialist in Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. She also acts as an Editorial Board Member of Nursing Journal of Chinese PLA and Journal of Nursing (China), a reviewer for Shanghai Nursing. Her current research mainly focuses on post-operative care of lung cancer patients, geriatric nursing, dementia care and symptom management for oncology patients by using evidence-based practice approach. In the academic achievements, she has received research grants as PI from Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality,Shanghai Municipal Education Commission,Shanghai Municipal Commission of Health and Family Planning and et al, with more than 70 publications, 9 patents and 10 research awards during recent years.
