BAI Jiaojiao is the director of the Nursing Department of East China Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University. She is also the vice chairman of the Rehabilitation Nursing Professional Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association and the vice chairman of the Rehabilitation Nursing Special Committee of the China Rehabilitation Medical Institutions Alliance. She is also the editorial board member of the Journal of PLA Nursing, Journal of Nurses' Advanced Study, Nursing Research and Shanghai Medicine. Her research interests include chronic disease management and diabetic foot care. It has been a diabetic foot care clinic for 18 years, and is committed to the whole process of nursing elderly diabetic foot disease. It is good at identification technology of dangerous foot, decompression technology, professional disposal of malformed toenails, intervention technology of corpus callosum caused by peripheral neuropathy and repair technology of refractory foot ulcer.

In the past five years, it has been funded by the National Health Commission, Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Municipal Health Commission and Shanghai Geriatric Society. Including the establishment and application of the latest practice plan for the elderly diabetic foot care, the series of research on the core technology of the intervention of the elderly diabetic deformity toenail, the research on the key technology of the elderly diabetic foot rehabilitation nursing and the research on the disabled elderly care model, focusing on the development and application of clinical rehabilitation nursing AIDS, has obtained 20 national patents. Among them, there are 2 invention patents and 17 utility models. The research project has won the second prize of Science and Technology Award of Chinese Nursing Association, the third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Chinese Nursing Association, the second prize of Science and Technology Innovation award of Chinese Nursing Association, the first prize of Science and Technology award of Shanghai Nursing Association, the second prize of science and Technology award of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, the second prize of science and technology award of Shanghai Rehabilitation Medicine and the first prize of nursing equipment innovation award of Shanghai Nursing Association.
