GUI Chunyi
BIOGRAPHY
Associate professor of nursing Gui Chunyi is director of Nursing department Eye & ENT Hospital, Fudan University, she is the editorial board member of the teaching materials/monographs such as 'Nursing of Eye& Ear, Nose, Throat and Stomatology', 'Theory and Practice of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Oncology', 'Adult Nursing' and 'New Contemporary Nursing'. She is responsible for the teaching of 'Surgical Nursing' in the School of Nursing of Fudan university and 'Geriatric Otorhinolaryngology Nursing' in Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College. In the past five years, she has been supported by Shanghai Health Commission, Shanghai Medical and Health Development Foundation, Xuhui District Science and Technology Association, Fudan University-Fuxing Nursing Research Fund and other fund projects. The research topics include the construction and empirical research of standardized training program for new nurses in the Department of Eye, ear, nose and throat in Shanghai, the evidence-based practice of airway safety nursing for patients with tracheotomy and non-mechanical ventilation, and the construction and research of multi-terminal information system specialized nursing technology management model in the department of Otorhinolaryngology.
In recent years, as the first author and corresponding author, she has published more than 20 nursing monographs including SCI. She has been awarded the seventh 'Shanghai Outstanding Nurse', the first Shanghai Young Nursing Talent, the 'March 8th' red banner bearer of Fudan University in 2015-2016, the nomination award of 'Top Ten Medical Youth' of Fudan University in 2017, the third prize of the management category of the eighth Shanghai Medical Staff Scientific and Technological Innovation 'Star Plan', and the Excellent Nursing Project of Shanghai Health Commission in 2023,Bronze Medal of the second Shanghai Health Industry Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition.

The project of 'Building a standardized training program for new nurses in ENT Department suitable for the training policy of new nurses in National Health and Family Planning Commission',30,000RMB, (project number: FNF201635), has been successfully completed.
2018, Gui Chunyi was awarded Fudan University - Fluxing Nursing Research Foundation, and served as the principal. 'Construction of Otorhinolaryngology specialized nursing technical management Model based on multi-terminal information system',30,000RMB,(project number: FNF201815), has been successfully completed.
2019-2020, Gui Chunyi was awarded the 2019 multi-center evidence-based Innovative Practice project of the Construction of Shanghai local high-level University - Evidence-based Nursing Innovation Research Institute, and served as the leader. The Evidence-based practice of airway safety nursing for patients with tracheotomy and non-mechanical ventilation, (project number: FNDGJ201906), 100,000RMB, has been completed.
2020-2022, Gui Chunyi was awarded Fudan University-Fluxing Nursing Research Fund, and served as the principal. 'Investigation of standardized training needs and Exploration of training Plan for new nurses in eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Department in Shanghai',30,000RMB,(project number: FNF202044), has been successfully completed.
2020-2022, Gui Chunyi was awarded the project of Shanghai Medical and Health Development Foundation and served as the responsible person. The 'Investigation on the needs of standardized training and exploration of training programs for new nurses in eye, ear, nose and Throat Department in Shanghai',50,000RMB, has been successfully completed.
2021-Present, Gui Chunyi was awarded the scientific research project of Shanghai Health Commission, and served as the principal. Construction of airway safety management model for otolaryngology patients based on evidence-based nursing, was under research, 100,000RMB.
