YAN Meiqiong is deputy director of the Nursing Department of Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University. She is also the director of the Nursing Department of , Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University（Xiamen Branch）,vice chairman of the Respiratory Nursing Committee of the Shanghai Nursing Association, and chairman of the Nursing Branch of the Lung Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Education Association. She serves as the editorial board member of journals such as Journal of Nurses Training,Shanghai Nursing Journal,Chinese Journal of Integrative Nursing. She participated in the compilation of 14 textbooks/monographs such as Internal Medicine Nursing, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Practical Tumor Nursing. Her current research focuses on acute critical care and chronic disease management. In the past five years, she has been funded by 10 projects including Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, Fudan University, Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University and Xiamen Municipal Health Commission. In recent years, she has published more than 80 papers as the first author or corresponding author in core journals.
