BIOGRAPHY
Prof. Lai is the director of three courses, including Fundamental Nursing, The Introductory Course of Hospice Care, and Gerontology Nursing. She also has taught the courses and Introduction of Nursing for undergraduate students of nursing. She has actively involved in the educational reform. She is the principle investigator of 5 educational reform projects funded by the school. Prof. Lai’s research focuses included palliative care. She has been the principle investigator of 7 research projects. The research projects involved the investigation of the hospice care services in Shanghai, the medical decision-making at the end-of-life stage, family support of dying patient, and the evaluation of quality of death. Prof Lai has published 20 publications in peer-reviewed international or Chinese academic journals during the past five year.
