Professor YUAN Changrong is the Director of the Research Center for Patient Experience at the School of Nursing, Fudan University. She is a member of the 8th Discipline Evaluation Group of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Official Representative of the PROMIS Health Organization (PHO) in China (PNC-China). She is also the Chairman of the Nursing Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, Vice Chairman of the Humanity Nursing Society of Chinese Association for Life Care, Vice Chairman of the Nursing Committee of Chinese Health Information and Big Data Association, and Vice Chairman of the Cancer Nursing Committee of Shanghai Anticancer Association. Her current research focus is on cancer care, nursing informatics and long-term care. She has research funding from National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Foundation of American Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) et al, with more than 300 publications in peer-reviewed International or Chinese core nursing journals. She acts as Editorial Board Member of Cancer Nursing,Journal of Transcultural Nursing and other peer-reviewed nursing journals. She was a winner of 2012 Nobuo Maeda International Research Award of the American Public Health Association (APHA) and CANCER NURSING’s Annual Research Award for 2019. Since 2018, she has been listed in 'Elsevier Most Cited Chinese Researchers' for five consecutive years.
