Enjoy profession, Happy innovation——The third Angel Innovation Forum was successfully held

On the afternoon of June 6,2023, with the support from Office of Global Partnerships (Key Projects Development Fund), the third Angel Innovation Forum was successfully held in the first conference room of the School of Nursing of Fudan University. More than 40 students from the School of Nursing of Hong Kong University（HKU）and Fudan University held a wonderful sharing and exchange meeting on the theme of "Enjoy profession, Happy innovation".

On behalf of the School of Nursing of Fudan University, Wang Shini, Jiang Yucheng and Fang ChenFei shared three innovative and creative projects, namely "Music Interactive Game Space for Autistic Children", "How can medical staff quickly and accurately calculate intraoperative bleeding" and "Foot Pressure Test Device to Identify and Evaluate Diabetes Dangerous Foot", which caused a strong resonance and heated discussion among the students from HKU.

Afterwards, 12 students from HKU respectively gave a brief introduction to the development history, talent training and foreign exchange of HKU, and shared the innovative medical products such as dialogue robot and the latest high simulator in the nursing practice and teaching process. Among them, Chen Wenyue shared the innovative practice project of her team based on the Internet and artificial intelligence technology, which is refreshing.

This activity not only deepened the understanding of nursing innovation between Shanghai and Hong Kong students, but also enhanced their innovative thinking and ability. In the face of the opportunities and challenges brought by the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation, the nursing discipline is urgent to strengthen the interdisciplinary integration of different disciplines and accelerate the training of innovative composite talents. It is expected that the undergraduates of two school can carry out more substantive cooperation and exchanges in the field of nursing innovation in the future. While enjoying the major, they will be happy and innovative, fully show the value of nursing discipline, better serve the national health strategic needs, and drive the high-quality development of nursing in China through innovation.
