BIOGRAPHY
Zheng Zhu, PhD, RN, is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing, Fudan University. He currently holds the position of Director of the Integrated Innovation Center for Infectious Disease Health Care (IDCI, Fudan Center), and is the Associate Director of IDCI Shenzhen Center. He is also an Associate Editor for JBI Evidence Synthesis and the Journal of Nurses Training, as well as a Core Researcher at the Fudan Evidence-based Nursing Center. In addition, Dr. Zhu is a fellow of the Cochrane China Network, the International AIDS Society, and the Youth Committee of the Shanghai Medical Association. As a principal investigator, he has secured a significant number of grants from the World Health Organization, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education of Humanities and Social Science Project, Shanghai Soft Science Research Program, Shanghai Sailing Program, and the China Medical Board.
His research areas cover a wide range of topics related to HIV/AIDS care and emerging infectious diseases care, including symptom management, symptom network analysis, migration issues, and social engagement in people living with HIV and other infectious diseases. Dr. Zhu's prolific contributions to the field are evidenced by his over 140 peer-reviewed publications, books, and conference abstracts. He has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences, highlighting his significant role in the field. His career in HIV/AIDS research is marked by interdisciplinary collaborations with researchers in various disciplines, from numerous academic institutions and organizations both in China and abroad.
