A faculty-student delegation from the School of Nursing, Universitas Indonesia, led by Dr. Hanny Handiyani, visited Fudan University School of Nursing for a four-day academic exchange. The visit strengthened dialogue between the two universities in nursing education, clinical practice and research, promoting mutual learning of nursing disciplines.

During the visit, the delegation earned about Fudan’s disciplinary development and talent training programs. Members toured the Fenglin and Handan Campuses to experience the campus environment and academic culture.

To gain insights into clinical nursing in China, the delegation paid site visits to Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University and Zhongshan Hospital. They observed on-site nursing services at top-tier clinical institutions, which provided practical references for future cooperation.

Multiple academic sessions were held throughout the program. Faculty from both sides shared presentations on Evidence-based Nursing Practice: From Original Research to Clinical Implementation, discussing research approaches and challenges of real-world application. A guest lecture themed "Caring in Nursing Management" explored the value of humanity-centered care in nursing administration. The talk triggered indepth thinking and lively discussions among participants.

Youth academic exchange formed a highlight of this event. Student representatives from both universities presented their research papers. By sharing findings and exchanging ideas, they broadened academic horizons and demonstrated the creativity of young nursing scholars.
