BIOGRAPHY

   Anni Wang, a registered nurse and a level 3 qualified psychological counselor, currently holds the position of a tenured associate professor overseeing MPhil students. Awarded as a Yangfang Talent Scholar by the Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, and nominated as a 2023 Youth Talent Scholar by the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Dr. Wang's expertise lies in investigating resilience and interventions for vulnerable populations facing stress or trauma. As a Principal Investigator, she has secured numerous competitive research projects at national, provincial, and university levels, amassing grants totaling nearly 1 million. With over 60 peer-reviewed articles to her credit, Dr. Wang's work has been featured in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Affective Disorders, International Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Family Process, and Psychological Trauma. Notably, her contributions have garnered substantial recognition, reflected in her Google citation count of 630, with an h-index of 14 and an i10-index of 18. Additionally, Dr. Wang has received accolades for her academic theses at national, provincial, and university levels. Her prior research on resilience among only-children lost parents has had a significant societal impact, leading to a social support action proposal approved by the National Health Commission and a resilience-based support model disseminated throughout Changsha City.
